Established in 1971 by the late Edward McMullen to service the domestic glazing market McMullen has developed into a multi-million pound business with his son Ted now at the helm. McMullen’s many prestigious projects include the Waterfront Hall, The Belfast Hilton and BT Tower all situated at the now rejuvenated former Belfast Docklands. The Altangelvin Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital are two of the major Northern Irish hospital projects it has undertaken. In Dublin it has executed the prestigious £9m Dundrum Town Centre project and has also contributed to the renewal of that city’s sky–line which has included Grand Canal Plaza and Beaux Lane. The Company has worked for major contractors throughout England including Laing O’Rourke and has completed projects for the Prudential Assurance at “Greenpark”, Reading and for the Royal Bank Of Scotland in Southend and Doncaster. Such projects have enabled McMullen to establish a reputation as a contractor who not only provides the highest standards of quality but who also retains the ability to deliver the finished product on time and within budget. As a result it enjoys many long term contractor and architect relationships and remains committed to fulfil its mission of being the preferred choice of its customers in its markets.
